Alberto De Bernardi

Alberto De Bernardi is full professor of Contemporary History at the University of Bologna. He studied social history and investigated Italian rural society between the 19th and 20th century. He has worked also on the history of Fascism and movements of protest in Republican Italy. Among his most recent publications are: Storia d’Italia. L’alimentazione (con Capatti e Varni, Einaudi, 1998); Il sessantotto (con Flores, Il Mulino, 1998); Una dittatura moderna (Bruno Mondatori 2001); Storia del mondo contemporaneo (with Roberto Balzani, Bruno Mondatori, 2003).
